This year, the national program Romanian Youth Capital and the Youth Summit are at an anniversary edition, the 5th one. Between November 2-16, youngsters from all over the country will meet online, at the largest event dedicated to the youth sector in Romania.
In this period of uncertainty, which is becoming a new reality, the youth from Romania, with ambition and courage, are taking steps to find solutions. The Youth Summit 5.0 is a unique event that includes 15 days with activities of learning, debate, consultation and celebration of the youth movement.
After four successful editions in physical format, the 5th summit will take place online, but promises to be as exciting as the others.
We are reinventing the workshops from the physical format, into a new format of closed events and consultation sessions. Plenary sessions of the old physical format turn into public, online events. More details about this Summit: https://www.facebook.com/capitalatineretuluidinromania .
Starting from the motto “The future begins today”, the organizers aim to conclude the 5th edition of the Summit with the Youth Resolution 2020. This important document will focus on the 11 European Youth Objectives:
1. Connecting EU with Youth
2. Equality of All Genders
3. Inclusive Societies
4. Information and Constructive Dialogue
5. Mental Health and Wellbeing
6. Moving Rural Youth Forward
7. Quality Employment for All
8. Quality Learning
9. Space and Participation for All
10. Sustainable Green Europe
11. Youth Organisations and European Programmes
The resolution represents a connection with the European goals and a commune effort of the entire youth sector.
The youngsters and supporting organizations are urged to register for the Youth Summit 5.0, to participate in the consultation and to take part in finalizing the Resolution. This is not just a document, but a joint development effort.
The Youth Summit 2020 is organized by the Romanian Youth Capital Governance – Romanian Youth Council (RYC), Cluj Youth Federation (CYF), PONT Group, BCR – Romanian Commercial Bank, with the support of the City Hall and Cluj-Napoca Local Council.
